GBE... Reminder: Tomorrow (Thursday, 10/16) is Make-Up & Holiday Picture Day & GBE PEDRO’s SPIRIT NIGHT!
GBE Spirit Night @ PEDRO'S! Close your kitchen & let Pedros cook for ya'll! Join us monthly to enjoy some amazing food, fellowship & fun. Be sure to put your receipt in the GBE jar - Pedros is generously donating 10% of the profits to GBE!
📸 Make-Up School Pictures (info applies to Make-Up pics – see below for Holiday/Santa pics info):
Families can order with cash or check by sending their payment envelope on picture day, OR you can pre-order online using the QR code on the order form (or the link below) until picture day.
If you order online, you do not need to turn in their envelope.

After picture day, online ordering will close — at that point, families will need to pay by check or cash or wait until re-order cards come out in a couple of weeks.

Orders must be placed with the envelope on picture day.
Only students who are ordering will be photographed for Holiday or Santa.
Remember:
• Mark “Holiday” or “Santa Only” on the envelope
• Indicate if you would like sibling photos - please write all students' names AND teacher's names on the order envelope, if requesting sibling photos done.
• Use the correct envelope — please don’t mix Holiday and Make-Up envelopes

⭐️Youth- LOLA WANTA Middle schooler, Lola Wanta, assists her mom and the team in PreK. She helps get the children in that classroom safely out the door and to the pick-up line.
⭐️Adult- KATIE STRANGE This special woman goes above and beyond for GBE. She thinks of everybody! She thinks of the children. She thinks of the teachers. She thinks of the community. She is simply outstanding. She's PTA president for the 2nd year in a row and does so much for the school; subbing and all things PTA..
⭐️ Sr. - SHERYL DUNN Sheryl Dunn is a wonderful person who shares her heart and experience when she volunteers for the pre-k, she is so loving and patient with all of them.

Teachers & Staff will be working on their long to-do lists, collaborative planning, and sharpening their instructional skills with Professional Development centered on Defined Learning/Project Based Learning and Student Led Academic Teaming. Nurse Wood embodies all the qualities of an elementary school nurse. She is kind, caring, and compassionate, yet firm with her students that come to her for care. She knows how to handle the littles that just need attention, as well as the more demanding cases that require a skilled nurse. Her professionalism shines when relating to parents and our school staff. She is always quick to jump in and help when there is a need. She is a true gift to GBE!
