On Saturday, October 18th, our PHS Speech & Debate Team participated in the Season Opener at Sims Middle School. We had 10 Patriots competing and six placing:

Silas Taylor - won in round 1 of Lincoln Douglass Debate
Dimitri Makris - Impromptu Speaking
Patrick Gorman - Congressional Debate
Carson VanWhy - Congressional Debate
Kaili Wetherbi - Top Novice Storytelling
Emilyn Tyson - 1st place Program Oral Interpretation (POI)
Parker Hill & Aiden Carter - 1st place Duo Interpretation Performance
Iara Santiago & Wyatt Heisel - 1st place Public Forum
