Important PSAT Information for 10th Grade Parents
All 10th-grade students are scheduled to take the PSAT on October 27, 28, or 29, unless they previously submitted an opt-out form.
Teachers will notify students of their assigned testing date and location this week.
Important Reminders:
* Students will test on only ONE of the three days ( please see graphic for testing locations).
* There will be no makeup testing dates.
* Students with College Board-approved testing accommodations will receive a testing ticket with their assigned date and location.
Please encourage your student to get a good night's rest, arrive at school on time, and do their best!

ACT Testing Update – Saturday, October 17
Students registered to take the ACT at Pace High School this Saturday, October 17, will test as scheduled!
Students must bring:
Valid photo ID
No. 2 pencils
Approved calculator
ACT Admission Ticket (strongly encouraged)
Important: Your admission ticket includes your ACT Match Number, which you will need to enter on your answer sheet. Not having your Match Number may delay testing and the reporting of your scores.
Testing is expected to begin by 8:15 a.m., but delays may occur if students do not have their Match Numbers.
Thank you to Mrs. Kelly, our School Counselor, for making this testing possible. We also appreciate the faculty and staff helping on Saturday.

The Santa Rosa County School Board has voted to extend school closures through Friday, October 16. Students and staff are scheduled to return on Monday, October 19.
We hope all of our Patriot families are safe and continuing to recover from Hurricane Isaias. Please use this additional time to take care of yourselves, your loved ones, and your homes.

Good afternoon, Patriot Family,
Santa Rosa County District Schools has announced that all schools and district offices will remain closed on Tuesday, October 13, as recovery efforts continue following Hurricane Isaias.
All school-sponsored activities, athletic practices, and contests are also canceled.
The district hopes to reopen schools as early as Wednesday, October 14, depending on campus conditions, road safety, and utility restoration. The district will decide by Tuesday evening and notify families of any school-specific closures.
We know this has been a challenging time for many of our Patriot families. Please continue to take care of yourselves and one another as our community recovers.
Families needing assistance can call 211 (United Way) for available resources.

As a reminder, Monday was already scheduled as a Teacher Planning Day, and students will not be in school. Santa Rosa County District Schools has now announced that all schools and district offices will also be closed Monday for all staff.
As soon as we receive additional information about school operations for the rest of the week, we will share updates with our families.
For now, please focus on taking care of yourselves, your families, and one another. We are thinking of our entire Patriot community during this time.
